I have a guy friend that is calling and sending me text messages every day for the past two weeks. He wants me to come and visit him ( he is 4hrs away). We always have a great time when we are together, but last time he came to see me he was a jerk and I am kinda over it ...we have a past but now I am not intrested and he is....
What should I do....Go see him and just see what happens &/or act like a jerk to him, or just not go at all??

Just don't go. If you aren't sure it would be a bad idea to travel four hours and it might suck.

NO---tell him you are busy and cannot make it---and leave it at that. Can he come see you???No you are busy and do not have time......no is no and if the past was bad, the present and future will be bad---but you don't need to be a jerk about it. Say you are busy---then sign off. He will eventually stop bothering you...keep talking and he will keep trying---GET MY MESSAGE???? Always remember to be nice and back away gracefully--that is a maturity level that you should be at at this stage of your life. Have a nice life and be careful

Tell him how you actually feel. Tell him that while you may have a past that you are not really interested in him anymore. Actually be honest with him. He might not like this type of honesty right away, but in the long run, this is the best option.

Could it be that he really wants you as his girlfriend?
I don't know the specifics, but a lot of guys will act that way towards a woman that they really like, but who has told him that she is not interested in him. If you're not interested in him, then you are just hurting him every time you are together.

The answer is simple: do what you feel like doing. And, you don't need to be a jerk to him.. if you think that little of him then don't speak to him at all.

Guys are simple. Just tell us what you want. We cant read minds, we don't know what your feeling, we react, like instinct. If you eliminate emotion from the equation you will probably find that we like thing simple, easy, and mindless. And please at any cost, don't just stare out the window and sigh. We don't know what that means.

Seems that you'd have a problem if he asked to come to see you. You have control over where and when you want to go.

Maybe since you have a past you should give him a chance, but if you are really not into him, that probibly won't help...good luck!
