If you're referring to sound card drivers then you'll have to determine the make and model, download and reinstall. If it's a music player such as WinAmp, again download and reinstall.
However, if you're running Windows XP simply rollback to the restore point where you deleted the affected software and all should be back to normal.

Now top click on computing device. and then click on test for Hardware transformations. this could reinstall all the lacking data and are available upon further hardware because of the fact the drivers will exist.
