Having orgasms can make you cramp, so theoretically i suppose so could getting turned on. maybe take some ibuprofen or midol before doing the dirty. good luck with that.

It could be a couple of things, depending on what gender you are:
If you are a female, depending on what type of foreplay is going on, it could be the blood engorging in your pubic area and making you cramp. If you orgasm, most likely it will be almost painful.
It's not that rare, but it does happen. The best you can do is take an aspirin or light pain medication and try to stay relaxed.
Another option would be that you are nervous and tightening up, thus cramping.
If you are a guy, similar thing. Although being a female myself, I can't quite answer your question.

I know it sounds simple and silly, but I have the same problem. My doctor told me that it was simply nerves. Not necessarily bad nerves, she said that some women feel differently when they get turned on, a nervous anxious feel for some women, and the obvious outcome for others. Don't just take the advise on here though, defiantly ask your gynecologist in case it is something wrong.

it can be some chemical/hormonal thing going on in your overies or utuerus. It's worth mentioning to a gyne. This could very well be a sign that something may be wrong with your reproductive organs, and the sooner you can get a hold of it to 'fix' it, the less problems you'll possibly have later (trying to conceive.)

It could very well be your need to release..if you know what I mean..I get this way if I have to refrain from sex for a few weeks ( it kinda hurts in my lower abdomen , a strange kind of hurt , and goes away after I "get off" or have a few orgasms..
try "relieving" yourself sexually and see if it helps...

when your aroused, it is amazing to know the things your body can do.
I would look at your diet, and include fruits with high citrus, and to gently massage the pain ( discomfort ) and this may alleviate any further problems.
if pain persists, please see your doctor.
