if my parents are muslims, and they would have brought me up a muslim, i would probably be a muslim today. my family is christian so that even as a young child i was indoctrinated a christian so that is what i am and i live and practise it.
i guess if i was muslim and really brought up that way, i would believe it to be the true religion. i have to honestly say that because each and every one of us truly believes that their religion and belief is the only true one.
i have never met a devoted christian who did not believe christianity was the true religion but i never met a devoted muslim, or a devoted buddhist who did not believe the same about their religion too.
and, to top it all, i have never met a convinced atheist that there is a true religions anywhere........lol
so i say, believe in whatever makes you a good person, a better person, a person who does good for his fellowman.

No. Anyone who thinks that all Islamics are convinced that Islam is the true religion probably don't know any Islamics. Islam is a culture as well as a religion. If you were born in Afghanistan everyone in your family would be islamic and Islam can be like the mafia....once you're in(no matter whether you were born into it or converted) you don't get out. In a country with Islamic law, to convert from Islam is called the sin of Apostasy and the penalty is the death penalty. You leave Islam and your own family will renounce you and they might try and kill you. You may be a nominal islamic with no interest in Islam or any other religion but you will play the islamic game just to keep from getting the natives restless. But if you really want a personal relationship with God and want to know God in a personal way, you're not going to find that in Islam. Allah does not have a revealed nature or essence. Allah is just divine will. You don't ever know Allah, you just obey Him. I would add that you don't really love Allah either. You cannot love someone that you don't know. If you really want to know God in a personal way and have a personal relationship with Him, There's only one religion that offers that and that's christianity. A lot of Islamics do want to know God in a personal way and Islamics are converting to christianity in large numbers in this day and age. You don't hear a lot about it because a lot of it is behind the scenes and secret(they don't want to get killed) but it's happening.

Obviously.
If I was born in Afghanistan, chances are it would be to parents who were also born in Afghanistan... therefore I would be raised Islamic... and therefore I would trust in my faith of that religion.
Lying might be a sin, but i am sure your question breaks a few rules. Is there a commandment for Instigation?

i think that Islam isn't consistent with actuality as a effect of learn. coaching is top. As grow to be already delivered out. Jesus words shouldn't conflict with the quran. And it is in spite of no rely if u have self belief Jesus to be God's son or purely a prophet. additionally Mohammad might of had good intentions, yet he grow to be for sure no longer despatched by way of God. in basic terms his existence-form on my own provides data of this. And is amazingly opposite to what Jesus taught. lower back this sort of blatant contradiction. There are some factors of the quran that any Christian might enjoy, because of the fact they are reminiscent of many scriptures. yet i think the Bible to be the stimulated be responsive to God. And the data of such is overwhelming. The aforementioned is rather in basic terms few discrepancies. yet of path maximum religions "Christians" or no longer, have their own proportion of inadequacies, and not all professing to be Christ followers might have his approval, in accordance to Jesus own words. replace: "the comforter" is God's holy spirit, no longer Mohammad. additionally please word that Jesus himself reported he grow to be God's son. did no longer Jesus look until eventually now Paul?

Considering that the Muslim religion does not recognise Jesus as the Son of God, but only as a respected prophet, they are a lost people. Consider the feelings of a father whose only son is not granted the respect due to him.
The respect being the acknowledgement that Jesus is much more than just a respected prophet.

Jesus is the truth regardless of where I was born.
Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

No. I would question.....to myself just like I did as a Catholic. I was told it is the only religion...., you have to accept Christ to go to heaven....I was also told....because your a girl..blah, blah, blah.
It never made any sense to me. If it doesn't make sense and ring true...I wouldn't beleive it.

I don't know. You could waste a lot of time thinking about what ifs. Reality is much more important.

"People of faith" attribute their beliefs to the fact that God found them, came through to them, showed himself, those sorts of things. They will never admit that their beliefs are a function of where they were born and what they were told as children. Never.
