Same thing it looks like when the dog gives it to people... Only less hairy. Shave the spot he has it and treat it immediately...
Ask the vet first as it could be something else... Ringworm looks like a lot of other conditions. best way to see it and tell, is to get a black light and shine that on the spot. It will glow like crazy!
It is a circular, reddish, raised patch of itchy scaly skin caused by a fungus. Not a worm... You can kill it over the counter with the same stuff that kills athletes foot... or some other fungicide.
( I know you probably know that but some people don't so...)

I guess you know ringworm is a fungus and has nothing to do with worms. Anyway, should appear as a somewhat round spot where dog is itching like crazy. You can catch it from dog so be washing your hands thoroughly. They get it from the dirt/ground.
Been years since saw this and trying to remember. I do know that OTC antifungal creme is used for dog and human to clear it up. Can spread with the scratching. All I remember is the crusty roundish areas. Sorry

It's round shaped, hair loss, and scaly skin. It's a very contagious fungus, among all animals and humans. The round, itchy spot can get wider and wider, or there can be several smaller ones. Best treatment, and cure, is to scrub the affected area with Iodine solution, rinse, then apply any OTC fungicides ointment, like the one for Athlete's feet, Jock itch, etc., three times a day for about a week. Same treatment/cure both for animals and humans.
