I wore mine about 3 times this last year. So somewhere around this. It really depends on a ton of factors - # of ceremonies, funerals, etc. in a year.

They usually only wear the Blues once a year, and that is for the Marine Corps Ball. The Blues are not required to be bought at all for Marines.

About 10-15% of the times when they wear a uniform of any kind. Fatigue are the usual duty uniform for a Marine.

My husband and his friends were talking about this, I asked how come some of the guys wore their alpha uniforms and they said that they're not required to buy them until Sgt. or SSgt. ( I forgot). Also they don't feel like spending 500$ on them. My husband's cousin was a Marine and he bought his blues jacket for $200. Also we lived next to a med discharged Marine and he was selling some of his old uniforms for a really good deal.

The waring of the Dress Blue uniform is usually reserved for Formal ceromonies and occasions.
though since it has become standard issue for every marine it is worn more often than it has in the past.
i know that doesnt really answer your question however there is no definant answer, the dress blues are worn as directed.

I used to see them all the time. It really depends on what that particular Marine has going on that day. And in ceremonies for like, Veterans Day and stuff like that, pretty much everyone there is wearing their dress clothes.

Not very often. Most guys wear them about a grand total of 5 times in their career.
You just keep them pressed and in the plastic cover from the dry cleaners and then sell them to some other sucker who stayed in when you get out of the Corps.
