If you are in the Coast Guard reserve and you get called to active duty, to you get stationed somewhere else or do you stay at your current station near your home and serve from there?

You will be called to where ever they need you. Example, the East Coast has some violent hurricanes. CC from the West Coast may be activated to go and help out. But if you are called normally you may stay around the area, but be prepared to go to Timbuktu.
