Would like to know...thanks.

I'm sorry I don't mean to be so confusing, but I asked this question in regards to having a REALLY bad day today, check out my recent blog on my 360 and asked if it was okay for Christians to have bad days so we can learn to be stronger in our walk with Christ and this guy answered and said to take a bullet that the world would be a better place and now I am a mess!

Hi Lyn,

Sorry I'm late. I hope you get to read my response.

To answer your first question, there are people here who are so blinded by Satan's hatred, their hurtful remarks are just automatic. I guess that's what it's like to live in the dark. I get trashed all the time. It doesn't bother me because I know God has called me to be a witness here on Yahoo and He's a great employer.

Regarding your daughter, you're going to have to let her go and pray that God will protect her and eventually open her eyes to the truth.
Not easy I know. That's where you walk in faith comes in. So be strong sister and know that God loves you both. Me too!

Counseling can still work, but it's best to explain to your daughter that the relationship between the two of you has degraded to the point where nothing the two of you do will help. Best to refer to that counselor as a disinterested third party who won't take sides and is willing to listen to the both of you and help you work out a solution. Nobody wants to talk to a shrink.

I know you've got a lot on your shoulders. I will be praying for you guys. God won't let you down if you continue to have faith in Him.

Hey, want to be uplifted? Go to the link below and order the video "My House Shall Be Called a House of Prayer." In it Pastor Jim Cymbala talks about his own daughter leaving home and struggles he went through. It will renew your faith in the power of prayer. Please do that. Okay?

Peace, love and blessings.

Lyn, there are "hate-mongers" in this world who, for whatever reasons, cannot let it be. I am not a Christian but I do believe in God and the Golden Rule. I think everyone deserves to be treated with respect no matter what religion they follow. I'm sorry that you have experienced any disrespect for your question.
See, witchfromoz2003 and I are pagans and we are not rude.
Here is a poem I wrote about being Pagan:
We are Pagan and We are True
We honor our elders and protect our children
We honor the earth, she is our mother
We hold family and kinship in the highest light
We hold truth and honor in our hearts for life
We take only what we need and give in abundance
We are Pagan and We are True.

Blessed Be and Good Luck

for some people..this site is used to make them feel better about themselves because they are so useless in the real world. they take joy into stomping on questions of people who dont have there defense up because they just want to know the answer to a simple or not so simple question.

dont let the actions of a few ruin the yahoo answers experience.

sometimes people ask a question about a touchy subject because they have to write about it in school. i do that a lot. some people are so fast to judge that im just trying to set someones nerves up or something.

most people are rude and mean because of their own insecurities if you have noticed if you try to speak the truth to them they get very angry, the reason for that is because they feel backed in a corner they know in their hearts what we say is true but are afraid it might take the fun out of life we know that it does the opposite but they are afraid to take that step it is hard for them to accept that the fun of life is in His kingdom

I don't know why they all leave rude comments, but I am a fellow Christian. I just logged on, though. :)

you didn't ask US a question.

we're here.

what are your questions to the Christians? I checked your profile and your questions are not directed at Christians.

why'd I get a thumbs down?

because you don't reap the rewards in this life or until the second coming. And as far as where all the Christians are...they are probably in the politics pushing the fanatical republican agenda.
