you'll need 2 of them. you also might want to look into Pioneer Premier PRS-D5000SPL. the'll give you true power.

may i ask why you went with the solo x? your obviously trying to the the loudest guy on the block, so why the solo x? a woofer thats been getting its *** kicked in SPL cometions by team Pioneer. maybe you should have done a little research on that, before you just went out and bought what you thought was cool.

Solo-x 18? Wow - you plan on doing some serious damage huh?

That is a good amp, but I don't think it's strong enough for a Solo-x 18. For a sub that powerful, you might need to daisy chain a few amps to get enough power

If you are just powering 1, then yes.

My last customer that had that particular sub had 2 of them, with an Audiobahn a5000spl 5000w on each one.

I'm not specifically familiar with that Orion, But Theoretically it should be fine.
