I disagree with the premise of your question.
Life doesn't end.
Consciousness of life might take a break but virui and bacteria (living things) will consume your flesh and thus the molecules that carry life will remain a part of life. Eventually those multi-celled masses of proto- and ecto-plasm will congeal in the four stomachs of a cow or float into the drooping mouths of freshwater bass. These animals feed other animals which feed other animals until the disjoined pieces of what is now you become part of
a million billion
(thats a quadrillion)
inexorable,
inevitable
beings.

That depends on what you believe. Atheists think that when you are dead that's 'all she wrote.' I have reason to believe there is a 'here after' based on personal experiences, if I see an Atheist there I will be amazed! Some religions teach that after you die you return to Earth, others teach that you await the Judgment and others say you will be judged and sent to your reward. Some think the Aliens are waiting, eventually we will all find out just what ...lies....beyond....

Oh hell i hope not. i am sot tire of shooting bad guys and turning down the ripe, warm fullness of all those young momen in dodge who hyave gtaken a shine for me. I don do that wont work. Not for he kinda lawman i swore to be. Sense festus disappeared all i have is his old mule to help me like he kelped him. God wouldnt approve but hopefully i can getg forgiven at leasgt i don/t diddlle with the children like doc. and mis kittey she will sleep with a one-legged apatche with no ears if he has some furs to ftrade for whiskehy.

yes and no. It'll start again whether you want it to or not, but you could be dead inside, so in a way, life wouldn't come back until you became alive inside again

I personally believe in reincarnation, so I'd say yes. And I also remember a Catholic prayer that said, "It is in dying that we are born to eternal life." So I guess it's all in your beliefs.
