Also, if you know any true ghost stories, please share them--this question has always fascinated me!

I have never had an experience with a ghost. Often I will see pages of pictures with "orbs" which people will say are ghosts.. I do not buy in to that. I have also been in supposed ghost houses. I have played with Ouija boards.. I was a very spiritual person when I was younger.. yet even my spirituality and open mindedness did not let me see ghosts.
I have yet to see any proof positive evidence for ghosts, it is almost always some sort of weird story. The stories I have heard from people are so outrageous that I think of them as fairly insane, and when I question them they usually will admit they embellished the story.
Even my wife tells me she has seen ghosts.. Amazingly it was while she was in her bed, which seems to be almost everyones ghost story.. And for some reason it almost always occurs at night, when our senses are easily fooled by our imagination and at the same time most people are tired.. People have a hard time differentiating between the dream world and the real world.
My opinion.. There are no ghosts.

I believe ghosts or spirits exist and are closer to us than anyone realizes. i do think some people see them at times or more often feel a presence.

ghost as the spirit of a dead person walking/floating around....no
the intangible past of a human that allows us to communicate with that realm and leaves you to be gone from the physical forever....yes
occult halucination...yes
figment of insanity....yes
out of body experience...technically yes
demon...yes
so yes, just not what most people would call a ghost

and some are evil spirits

the bible says that there are spirts amongs that are not of this earth, so yes i think so.
