You know, like they are tight and close minded, but if you could just get through and break them open then everyone benefits.

I don't want to bust Christians apart until their insides spill out for little children to snatch up.

That sounds like a horrible idea, actually.

Probably to some extent. I can't speak for all atheists, but I see the religious as close minded and ignorant - but mostly it's not their fault. They've just been misled and convinced very strongly of verisimilitude of their myths. As I learned about the psychology of perception and propaganda I know how incredibly powerful such "brainwashing methods" can be, and how belief distorts your perception of reality.

I think that both sides have their pinatas and broomsticks. Don't look at this one-sidedly, you lose the respect of the nice people in this forum.

No.
Christians are people.
Christianity is a jar of slippery, soapy bubble solution.
The Bible is a bubble-wand.
Faith is hot air.
Bubbles are God.

Atheism is the popping of the bubbles.

Nope. But I find willing denial of facts supported by evidence to be incredibly weak and closed minded. Neither of which are things I hold in high regard.

As a Christian I've really got to wonder why you would ask such a stupid question. What benefit will it bring?

that's far too flattering in this day and age there is no excuse for
basing ones life on a myth without admitting the truth.

Why do you ask a question that you know you are going to get answers that belittle you and your belief system?

intelligent athiest swings around and hits Christian Piniata?
uh - no. I wish everybody would chill out. Wait and see what happens at the end, and then everybody can yell at each other - whats the point of it now - nobody can prove anything anyway.
Athiests want some kind of supernatural sign - and they will get it right about when the 6th trumps sounds. da da dum.....wait and see........
