Guys. Because they're more of the laid-back don't give a crap if I step on a tapeworm types.

It shouldn't make any difference. Just go barefoot if you like it, it is NOT against any health regulations and only in the US do many people believe it's gross... people, don't get your health education from store windows, what's posted there isn't even true, there are no health department rules against bare feet. You will not get worms from going barefoot; tapeworm you have to ingest and even hookworm which can enter through the skin is as good as gone from the southern US since modern plumbing has replaced the outhouses. In colder parts of the world it never was a problem even back then. Nor is glass as much of a problem; I go barefoot everywhere, never divert my step even if I see glass on the ground and I have a tiny splinter *maybe* once a year, never had a cut in my ten years of barefooting. It's not that dangerous, folks!

I don't the sex of a person comes into play when it is going barefooting. Anyone can do that. It's a universal thing. =)

I guess it depends on which one is homeless. Well I'm a girl and I go barefoot all the time so I'm not sure.

Id say a girl because that is a little HOT but a guy or the wrong girl barefoot is a little HILLBILLY

It doesn't really matter as long as their feet aren't disgusting. A girl can go, since she can take good care of her feet and a guy can go, because well he's a guy. Gender shouldn't be an issue when it comes to getting in touch with nature.

Unless you are at the beach, one shouldn't be out in public barefoot regarless of gender. This is out of safety and sanitary purposes.

It's seems acceptable to go barefoot around the beach, in a park, or in one's own yard. People do it all the time. I would think it is acceptable for either sex, although you normally see more girls walking around barefoot around their houses than guys. This is because girls have less comfortable shoes than guys, on average, and tend to kick them off when they get home and go barefoot more often.
In public areas like parks and around the beach, guys probably go barefoot more often than girls. This is because guys don't care if their soles get dirty as much as girls do. Their feet are generally tougher than girls' feet too, so they can walk on more surfaces.
Where I live a lot of guys will go to a park wearing flip flops and kick them off when an unscheduled game forms (soccer, touch football, frisbee, etc.). This is why more guys are barefoot in parks than girls - I think guys play casual sports with each other more.
Near the ocean, guys normally don't like putting shoes back on to walk around after their feet get wet or sandy. If they were wearing sneakers and socks before, it is easier to just stay barefoot than hosing off feet and putting footwear back on. Girls normally have slip on shoes.
To recap, around neighborhoods, girls go barefoot more often. At the beach and park, guys are usually more laid back and inclined to barefoot around the place.
For all of you that keep talking about hookworm, I have yet to hear of one person that ever got hookworm in my life. I think might have been true 50 years ago, but not today. Kick off your shoes and relax. Going barefoot is fun!

None of them. you might step on worms or even glass. and it could get hurt and you might step on something and you could get a disease. so dont go barefoot on public.
