The predicted high is about 15 - 20 Fahrenheit. The wind chill will be in the low single digits. So far, a 2 hour delay has been called.

Doesn't God want my kids to learn?

Excuse me....what does God have to do with this?
A predicted high of 15 - 20 F. Below or above 0? A wind chill in the low single digits, and a 2 hour delay has been called??
Sorry for the repeat, but that wouldn't even qualify for a day off where I live. We had a winter storm here 2 weeks ago, -40C (same as -40F) wind chill -47 to -50, winds up to 93kph (55mph), and that was the 1st time in 23 years that they let school out early, kept them closed the next day, and excused elementary school kids for another day, rural schools were closed for 3 days....
Just what exactly happened? Sounds like a fluke of human error, or you're living further north than I am.

and have them discover the magic of real knowledge??
this is against God! believe to him and dont seek the truth....they preach....
school for god is good if only theology is taught.
what to do with math physics chemistry......and this unimportant things.
i guess thats why all the religious ones said teach them at home...cause they expect that all you will give them is a GOD to believe in,,,,,just like 2000 years ago when science whouldnt dare to go against him
dont let that happen,

He wants them to learn how to enjoy sleeping in.

[edit] Wait a sec! Penguin kids don't get out of school for cold weather?

Hey, do they sleep in their tuxedos?

Blame global warming, not God. Global warming pushes temperatures to their extremes.

You are responsible for your child's education, first and foremost--remember? If their minds are rotting away for two hours tomorrow, whose fault is that?

...Don't kill the messenger now...

Maybe he wants YOU to teach them something, that they can't learn in their current educational system. Wouldn't that be terrible (note: sarcasm).
