Sounds like you need to go to a shoe store and get fitted for a proper pair of running shoes.

I have the same problem. It could be shin splints, which is caused by the impact of running or serious walking, in which case, a good pair of cushioned shoes may help. Also, running downhill will worsen the problem as it tends to be heavier on each step. Another likely cause, and the cause in my case, is a condition where the large veins on the front of you legs have valve problems. When you run or walk for a long time, the blood can basically travel back in the wrong direction and cause a pressure point. It causes pain all around the shin and calf area.To check for this, wait until it happens again and when the pain occurs, squat right down but stay on your feet, and a lump will be present in the most painful area where the blood is pushing either way.

If your shins hurt while running you're getting shin splints. While it's nothing that will kill you, it does create discomfort.
A good way to help is to stretch your shins. To do this, place the tip of your foot against the wall, your heel on the ground, and try to touch your knee to the wall. It wont take away all the pain, but it helps a little.
Also, running slow increases the chances of getting shin splints. When you run, your feet strike the ground which causes tiny fractures along the bone, so the slower you run more times your feet strike the ground.

it will go away in a few days if u continue to practice.
Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

Shin splints. Get better shoes that support and cushion the impact of your foot falls.
Go to a sports store (NOT PAY LESS) and talk to a knowledgeable sales person about what you need.
Shin splints are tiny fractures in your shins and depending upon how bad they are, can take days or over a week to heal

shin splits. Never run on concrete, or pavement. I would lengthen your stride so that you are not pounding so hard and I would run only on grass or sawdust trails until you lose weight. But since they hurt you really bad, I would just walk for a while until they heal.
