that should not be, i respect alot about what Jesus message was, but if someone uses it in an illogical manner than i will say so, nobody should feel good , or for that matter bash a person, but some people are just not that smart and need to have a solid perspective before they begin to preach. thomas

It's the same reason why some people are racist, sexist & homophobic. Because they can. It's not that deep honestly. I don't believe in Christianity at all and I don't bash them (well, not the intelligent, open minded ones!). Bashing someone for a choice or something they have no control over isn't going to change them and it isn't going to make me any smarter or happier.

They don't feel good in Dodge City. They get cracked overthe head and a couple of nights in jail. If they talk back they may attempt an escape and that can be fatal. Dodge is the wrong place to go for those birds who go around bashing Christians. Cause they get more than bashed. Did I mentioned the fines and jail time? Noo, they don't feel good when they bash christians.

Why do fundamentalist Christians feel good when they mock and belittle the deeply held religious faith of others, calling other people's religions "cults", telling deeply religious prayerful Jews, Buddhists, Moslems, even Catholics, Mormons, and other Christian faiths that God ignores their prayers? Why do they bash people of other faiths like this?

Dear Daniel, I do not know why people bash other people, but that dosent bother me. I have been personally reconcilled and called to be an apsotle and follower of Jesus Christ, and to him, I will remain loyal, even unto death. therefore, threatenings and blapshemy to not intimidate, because there words will be held against them, on Judgement day, not me.
I was once like them, THough I have lived in the "Bible Belt" and was taken to church as a young child, I grew into cynicism toward, God, Jesus, and the BIble. I did not attend church for a long while, nor did I read or find interest in reading the BIBle. I became an all around cynic. One Morning, I went to sit on my promenade, to read the BIBle. It was a Windy Morning, probably around 7:30 Am. I beca flusterated, because I woud begin to read and the wind would whip the pages about like fallen leaves. as I read however, God spoke. HIs message was first galatians1:6-9 ”I am astonished you are so quickly removed from the Gospel you have heard to another, apparently there are some who have confused you and perverted the Gospel of Christ, but if any man preach unto you any other, then let them be eternally Condemned.” This message caused me to reconsider my cynicism. and I thank God, that Later in Life The Gospel was revealed to me and I became soundly saved by grace. The Lord held up His law, and I understood His furious hatred toward my sins of lying and stealing and blasphemey, idolatry and Lust. I trembled before God, because I understood his Holiness. I Understod the sufferings of Christ on the cross for my sins, and His consequent death. I knew the promise of Jesus through his eath to restore, reconcille and reedem those who would repent and belive upon him. and I did, I repented (turned from sin) toward God, and trusted Jesus that same hour. That Moment, it was as if scales had falen from my eyes, my blinded eyes were opended, I was granted the gift of everlasting life. And Most importantly, I was personally reconcilled to God and called as a belilver and apsotle to bring his Gospel to the world. I Forgive the basher's, because I was once very similar, but thanks be to God, for His mercy and grace.
God Bless
Apostle

Why do you assume it's a good feeling? I often think of it as a duty to myself and to my fellow man. Some people need to be ridiculed to get them to use their brain. But, in fact, I rarely "bash" for bashings-sake; I'm inclined to simply rely on speaking the truth... There is no god (God) and therefore god-based faith is illogical.
Christianity and the other god-based beliefs tout a heap of nonsense as if it were true - and, quite truthfully, it isn't!
Can you understand that it is a moral obligation to spread truth over lies and logical reasoning over emotional assumption? Think about that...

Most of bashing I've seen of christians has been well deserved. Christians bring it upon themselves way to often because of their selfish and egotistical attitudes.

Since christianity is basically based on faith, people will use that "proof of nonexistence" to thier advantage. They feel right and that makes them feel good. They also want to feel like they are not being overpowered by anyone or anything. They just feel good bashing people. Dont worry about it.
