Find a purpose in life. Make goals. Find out what you really want to accomplish in this life, and go for that. Find God, that helps.

The first thing you need to do is see a doctor to make sure your fatigue isn't being caused by a medical condition (anemia, a sleep disorder, an infection of some sort, etc.). You may also suffer from depression, which your doctor can help diagnose and treat as well.

If it doesn't seem to be anything medical, probably the best way to increase your energy is to start exercising. It seems counter-intuitive -- if you're TIRED, you don't have the energy to exercise, right? But try starting slow and small -- take a short walk every day after work or on your lunch break, try lifting free weights or doing stomach crunches or yoga moves when you're watching TV, stuff like that. The more you exercise, the more you'll increase your metabolism and boost your energy level.

Good luck and go see that doctor ASAP so you can get started on getting better!

You should go to the doctor and have blood work done. You may be deficient in some vitamin or mineral. Some people who are always tired are anemic, and need to take iron supplements.

Try to get fresh air and exercise during the day, and get enough sleep at night. Eat a healthy diet, but do get checked out by a doctor.

Some people who suddenly become very tired have mono. If that's the case, you will need to be getting a lot of rest and taking care of yourself. Untreated mono can create liver disease.

Get some exercise. The though may be exhausting when you don't have enough energy as it is but it really livens you up. You need less sleep and you feel better. Drink water to flush out toxins that might be bringing you down. If all else fails drink a red bull.

Well, it sounds like you have depression-- join the crowd and it IS a big group of the population. You can have it because of the time of the year, if you live in gloom and doomville- that's what I call where I live NE USA where you see a peek of the sun every 10 to 14 days or so-- you develop depression due to SEASONAL AFFECTIVE DISORDER- and it is actually because your serotonin levels in your brain are being depleted because they only are renewed by sunlight and medications.... and yes, it is sucks the life right out of your soul down to your toes----please see your doctor, he can evaluate and prescribe medications to help you get over this period--- and it may be just a seasonal problem or you may have to be on meds longer---I'm on them over 5 years (different ones of course), but I couldn't think of living without them--- I'm truly nonfunctional without medication, sad and sorry to say, but true..........good luck to you..... I hope you feel better soon..............oh, ps. if you live where the sun actually DOES shine-- get out in it and bask in it!!!! and send a little sunshine to me!!!!

depression keeps people from being able to do the things they know they need to take care of. then they are down because stuff keeps building up and it just keeps getting worse. genuine happiness comes from helping other people. but i think the best solution is a steady piece of @ss.

depression... ahhh... totally sucks. tis that time of the year. i suggest that you visit your doctor if these feelings persist for more than 2 weeks. that is a sign of depression. your doctor can tell you if medication is right for you & what to do. often times, they will prescrible medication for a short period of time to get you out of the depression when it is temporary. it all depends upon the type of depression you have.
