In the mind of a controlling person, someone else is always the problem. It's never them that comes along with the territory. My father is somewhat controlling and it's always us never him, yes I get very tired. He's a good daddy though, just human. If this is any person other than a family member, you don't have to stick around, leave them before it gets worse. You don't owe him anything.

I view controlling as a behavior. Some people do it an awful lot and it is very alienating and a good way to push people away.
A tactic used to control others is blame. A controlling person will only continue to do it if he gets what he wants. The key is to not give in to the manipulation, and to not give in consistently.
Yes, I am tired of people blaming, controlling and manipulating me, so I refuse to accept blame, to react or give in to them. As I do this on a consistant basis, they go away!

In a way you might be the problem - you need to get rid of the controlling people in your life.

yes i am tired. they treat me like am the problem and they are the problem. they will tell you to do something a certain way and u do it just like the say and then they find a problem with it.

see that was pretty much what my hole point with my question. My mom is so controlling that she has made me fell like I have lost control over my own kids.

Yep and now he is gone haha. I can't deal with people like that they don't seem to realize that they will ruin every relationship they ever have when they act like that.
