Not sure if you mean Enlisted 1 or Ensign one?
Most E1s make very little (since, unless you're married you HAVE to live on base in a Barracks/Dormintory).
However if you are referring to an Ensign (O1) you will make decent money in comparison.
E1: 1301.40 (before taxes montly)
O1: 2469.30 (before taxes montly)
If you are married and/or live off base you also receive a BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing) which varies from city to city. My BAH is about $700.00 a month. You also receive a BAS (Basic Allowance for Subsistance) aka a food budget of about $260 a month. You don't have to spend that amount on either rent or food; its essentially just extra money (only if you live off base).
