She wants to take a break and focus on acting. She is still planning to do the 2009 worlds and the 2010 Olympics, but I don't really think she will.

After winning silver at the Olympics, and bronze at worlds, everybody needs a break!!! Sasha said she needed a break from competition, I guess it stressed her out quite a bit! She wants to give it her all at 2009 worlds and 2010 Olympics so she is taking time off now to relax. I wiwsh she would be there for this years nationals because she is leaving wiggle room out there....

she's just wants to take a small break for a little.

but there was a small rumor that she was "afraid" not entirely but kind of that she was afraid of the new comer mao anda japanese i think around 16 -17 years old who is an amazing skater that can land her triple axel incredibly consistent!

sadly, she wants to focus on acting. she may be back in 2010 for the olympics, but i doubt it.
