Because you are blessed. Barking dogs are not only a pain, but in many states you can actually be fined for your dog barking excessively. The only time a dog should bark is when its trying to alert you to possible danger.

What kinds/breeds of dog are they? Some dogs just don't bark much & just do the occasional "woof".
OR
How old are they? If they're really young, I don't think they know their territory yet & won't bark even if someone is at the door.

Some dogs just aren't big barkers. I have 2 Lab pups and they are known to be barkers yet one rarely barks.

when i bought my princess , a female maltese, i thought she was a mute! she's gonna be 4 years old soon, and she 'barked' less than 10 times.
when she does 'bark', its a high pitch , but non- threatening *RUFF*... so girly!
i say, your dog is perfectly healthy.no worries.

Who cares? Be thankful! lol
I think it's like children who squeal and whine at a restaurant; it all depends on the way they were brought up.
