First of all...icunurse, it is capital, when referring to states. Capitol (with an O) refers to The Capitol...in Washington D.C. Hate to burst your bubble. Nice try moron. And also wnnagetdirrty, Washington D.C. is named after a former president, but it's not a STATE capital. It's a country capital...nice try. Let's keep trying folks. I'll give you the states with French capitals. Iowa, South Dakota, Vermont, Louisiana
