Yes, for sure, any wireless headphones require batteries to drive the speakers. There are some different applications which use different types of headsets.
You can get wireless ones with an RF transmission usually for hooking up to your cd player or stereo or TV, not made to be portable, just used in and around the house typically
Then there are bluetooth headphones, usually they are made only to work with Bluetooth compatible cell phones that have MP3 players.
I think you can also get IPod ones which have a transmitter that plugs into the top and transmits via bluetooth.

They are cordless headphones. Some have a radio you can run around in, then the other type you use at home to listen to your music or TV. Go to any major computer or department store.

there are!! they are expensive!! around $300. Called ETYMOTIC ETY8 i found it in the popular science magazene id wait a few years for hte price to go down! they have up to 6-9 hours of battery life and are 1.1 ounces each. they have a range of 30 ft!! they are supose to have better quality than wired sound quality!

yes. there are headphones that you plug in and they also use batteries to block out other sounds. or you can just get cordless head phones

Yep, Yamaha makes them. They are about 80 bucks and you can find them at any major music store or electronics store.
