Could it be that having a horrible relationship with their own dad makes them incapable of receiving the love of the Heavenly Father? Could it be that by forgiving their own fathers, they would then be able to see the love that God has for them?

What, for the love of sanity, are you talking about??!! Let me tell you this: I'd put my father's parenting up against your dad's any day of the week. He was the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful and loving man I've ever encountered in my life. In fact, his love and wisdom went a long way in repairing the damage done by my abusive and neglectful Christian mother.

Not sure where you got that load of horse crap from, probably some born again site. Evangelical Ted Haggard was a born again christian. So why is it that born again christians tend to be homosexual and like crack? My point is your sweeping, generalized, uneducated view of atheists shows a complete lack of understanding for anything outside of the sheep's view of the world you've had crammed down your throat.

I certainly hope you have published statistics in your favor on this one or I'll have to side with them and call you a fool.

You need a NON-CHRISTIAN PH D who shows more than 50% of the Atheists are that way or you are in DEEP trouble with eveyone here and make religion look bad!

There are a lot of people who claim atheism who are mad at god (not true atheists). I am a proud, happy and moral atheist who has a great relationship with his dad

That's an outright lie. Where are your stats and research to back that up? I have a good relationship with my father, and that has nothing to do with religion. He's Roman Catholic and I'm an atheist.

Isn't it considered a sin i your bible to make up lies and spread falsehoods?

If you don't want to listen to atheists' answers then at least listen to Christians who say you are completely out of line. What you said was very hurtful because my father is not with me anymore and I miss him everyday.

You've met every Atheist in the world, have you?

My boyfriend's an Atheist. He's very close to his dad. In fact, I can't think of one Atheist I know who has a bad relationship with their dad. Your "theory" needs work.
