It is clear that God loves some people more than others.
Matthew 13:12
Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.

Do you think that riches would make you happy? If somebody gave you a large sum of money, would you not be pleased? Probably you would. Likely you could think of ways to spend it.
ADMITTEDLY, there are plenty of things to buy to make life more comfortable and enjoyable. Money can also serve "for a protection" against unexpected problems, such as disease or unemployment.-Ecclesiastes 7:12.
But what is the relationship between money and happiness? Do you think, as many do, that happiness is a by-product of wealth? Finding the answers to these questions may be difficult because money can easily be measured, or counted, while happiness cannot. You cannot put happiness on a scale and weigh it.
Then, too, some rich people seem to be happy, while others are miserable. The same is true of those who are poor. Still, most people-even those who are already wealthy-believe that more money will bring them greater happiness.
One person who wrote about such matters was King Solomon of ancient Israel. He was one of the richest men who ever lived. You can read a description of his enormous wealth in the 10th chapter of the Bible book of First Kings. Notice, for example, that verse 14 states: "The weight of the gold that came to Solomon in one year amounted up to six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold." That figure is equivalent to 25 tons of gold. Today, that much gold would be worth well over $200,000,000, U.S.!
Yet, Solomon was not merely rich; he was blessed by God with wisdom. The Bible relates: "King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth. And all the people of the earth were seeking the face of Solomon to hear his wisdom that God had put in his heart." (1 Kings 10:23, 24) We too can benefit from Solomon's wisdom, since his writings make up part of the Bible record. There we can see what he had to say about the relationship between wealth and happiness.

Those that are at all spiritual or religiousdon't believe this. This world is temporary to believers of all faiths. Gods blessings are not about material things. God's son, when on earth, was an itenerate preacher, carpetner and fisherman. Not at all wealthy. God's blessing include family, love, self condfidence, giving, love, humility. Paris Hilton has riches but not inner peace or security. Her friend Nicole and she have abused drugs and alcohol to numb the feelings of unhappiness and self loathing. You should seek to understand what a blessing is to God.

Not all that are blessed with wealth are blessed by God. But let me regale you with a quick Bible lesson Luke 13:30 for reference purposes he is speaking of his second coming and it is the end of a lengthy answer to a question about who will be saved but here is the verse "Indeed there are those who are last who will first, and first who will be last." Just because someone may seem to have God's Blessings does not mean they do. In Matthew 20:27-30 Jesus gave a similar answer to a question posed by Peter about all they were giving up to follow him.
Another way to look at is the parable of the talents, to paraphrase the story, he gave 3 different servants different amounts of money 2 went out of their way to multiply what they were given for their master, and the master rewarded them, and the last one hid the money and did nothing with it, he called that servant lazy and wicked and he took the money away from him. God rewards people whose gifts are used in his best interest, and if you don't use those gifts for his best interest or for your own self interest he can and will take them away.
Pick which ever best suites your needs, but those are two explanations.
P.S. about Paris Hilton--the root of all evil is "NOT" money, the root of all evil IS THE LOVE OF MONEY. God never said that people who are in the money are "his people".

Jer 5:27 As a cage is full of birds, so [are] their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
Jer 5:28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
Jer 5:29 Shall I not visit for these [things]? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
Jer 5:30 ¶ A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
Jer 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love [to have it] so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

yes, paris ,even without a brain ,lives the "good"life.
She must get down on her knees every night and thank the Lord for her dad.
some of the main religions encourage one to become wealthy and it does seem like the wealthy are blessed,i agree.
money can buy happiness and certainly can alleviate suffering.
many very wealthy people eg bill gates give billions to charity.
unfortunately it seems to have little impact on the suffering we see in the world today.
why? probably many reasons.another time

not all who are rich are holy.....I seriously doubt Paris Hilton is considered holy in God's eyes......
God gave to each person abilities (as he designed our unique souls for our bodies). some just realize how they can use their abilities to get rich, and then some are born from them.
besides, the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous. eventually, there'll be aturn around.
the rain falls on the righteous and the unrighteous. and a lot of those people sadly have things we in North America lack in general: faith, meekness, innocence.
and giving it all away would be unwise. you should only take drastic measures like this if led by the Holy Spirit. and suicide is stupid!

Wealth is not the only one of god's blessings.
If you are lacking a solid roof over your head, medical care, food, then yes, I can see why you may say that the wealthy are blessed.
Material possessions are a weight around your neck.
How many of us will still cry and wail at our house burning down even though all of our loved ones are safe outside?
What if you are wealthy in property, but dont' value it?
Are you still wealthy?

That's a tough one to answer. God Himself says He blesses whom He chooses to bless. Not all are rich by the way. Poor people get blessings to, but they may not get a million bucks. Blessings come in many forms. Also consider that some people become wealth simply because they worked hard for it.

study Mathew 25, for it talks approximately how despite you do for the less fortunate, you do for God. Mathew 25:40 says precisely-"What-ever you do for the least of those, you do for me." additionally interior the e book of Mathew, Jesus observed a unfavourable widow supply 2 little funds(pennies). Jesus reported that even although the wealthy gave lots greater funds, this unfavourable widow gave greater advantageous than any of them to God. For the wealthy gave what they did no longer choose, however the the widow gave all the money she had to outlive and that became purely 2 pennies. ----- in case you like a bible that focuses straight away in this, check out the Poverty and Justice bible. this is a bible that highlighted the 2000 bible verses that talk approximately helping the less fortunate. it is likewise crammed with articles on helping the unfavourable.

The laws of karma are extremely intricate. Paris Hilton, or anyone else with wealth receives this as the result of their pious activities in their previous life or lives. Thiis is described in greater detail at the end of the 6th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita As It Is, wherein Lord Krishna explains that the unsucessful yogi, from their previous life, takes his or her birth in the family of rich aristocracy, or spiritual transcendntalists, so that they can continue progressing spiritually from there.. Good karma comes in the form of beauty, wealth, high parentage, and intelligence. Bad karma due to sinful activities performed comes in the opposite way : ugliness, poverty, infamous family, low IQ. We all have mixed karma from the past, some of both.
If somone was very charitable in their last life, in this life they will be rewarded very much, materially. The purpose behind Krishna giving all the "good karma" is to give that person maximum facility to live a saintly life, and devote one's life in Krishna's ( God's ) service, so that they can become fully purified, and go back to Godhead, the Spiritual World. They dont have to struggle to get theirfood, pay their rent, etc.... Unfortunately, many people who have a lot of good karma, like wealth, squander it away in materialistic pursuits, and become even more entangled. They then get temporarily demoted in their next life to a birth that is appropriaate to their desires. eg. A person who likes to sleep a lot can receive the body of a bear, a person who likes to eat a lot can become a pig, etc....Today's Hollywood celibrity could become a demigod in a higher planet, receive a spiritual body fit for the spiritual world, or , if addicted to an unconscious state of intoxication, take birth as a tree.
When we devote our activities in the Lord's service, we dont have to take birth anymore to be either materially rewarded, or punished. To take birth in this world is a punishment in itself, even in you're Paris Hilton. Don't think she doesnt have her share of difficulties. The best way to wipe out all of one's past good or bad karma is to chant the Holy name of the Lord, such as the Hare Krishna mantra. The next time you see Paris Hilton, please mention that to her ! lol
