She has a tattoo of her old boyfriend on her lower tummy area, and she refuses to have it covered or removed.

We are to be married in less than a month.

In my opinion, you have a perfect right to be upset, and more than upset. I'd be fricking furious! This would be an absolute deal-breaker for me. I would find it deeply disturbing, and a definite "red flag".

She sounds like a winner! You knew the tattoo was there, so why did you get engaged? It's a little late now to make this demand. If it's a deal breaker, you should call off or postpone the wedding. I would think she would want it off if she is marrying you. I can't imagine it looks good on her and I wonder how she would feel if you had a tattoo of one of your exes on your tummy. Perhaps you should suggest that you are considering getting one too.

It's a shame she has a constant reminder of her ex with her all the time, but could it be removed or changed? It's just a tattoo though and you are the one marrying her. I wouldn't want a constant reminder either, but sometimes there is not much you can do. Good luck, have a great wedding!!

Thats tought....Honestly I would be mad too, BUT she loves you a ton (she is going to marry you!) So I wouldnt be to concerned about it. Have you asked her why she refuses to cover/remove it? Maybe she feels like its part of her and her past that she doesnt want to take away.

I mean, does she have a good reason to why she won't remove it or cover it? Other than that, I'd feel sort of pissed, especially if she's showing it around.

Yes, i think you have the right to be angry with her. If y'all are getting married, then she should have it removed unless there's a reason she wants it there....

It'd bother me, yeah. It's as if she's saying she's still interested in him!
