Leet speak gets an immediate pass.
Poor spelling likewise.
All pregnancy queries are ignored.
Homework help gets none.
Generally, I'll open up a question if there seems to entertainment possibilities.
On occassion I will answer a question thoughtfully.

What makes me want to answer a question is helping someone with a problem. I skip over the ones that are asked constantly by the same person over and over again. Like if someone asks the same question 3 times in half an hour.

Well, I answer something that seems like it might be related to my life. I usually pass on the marriage/serious relationship questions, because I'm only in high school. If something says guys or girls only, I'd be all over it too!
This is how I try to title most of my questions, since I know more people will read it, but if you title too many of your questions the same way, Yahoo! won't post it. That's a pity......wouldn't you agree?

hmmm well, I guess I usually skip over the "guys only" ones, and if it asks about things I don't know about, I sometimes read the answers. Usually I stick with ones that I have experience with, or the answer to, and polls. Often its random, though lately I've been answering a lot of relationship questions for guys who need a girl's perspective.

I read the question and if I've had experience with it or feel I have a good answer/reply then I answer. I read the guys only ones, because I'm not a guy, I don't answer. What REALLY makes me answer is wanting to get that best answer e-mail! Sometimes I get lucky too! =)

It depends. Last week I had my iPod stolen and I deliberately searched for questions relating to stolen iPods. This week, I'm more enclined to just answer the questions I have some knowledge about. I tend to skip over the questions with bad grammar, unless they're really atrocious, in which case I answer sarcastically. Honestly, it depends on my mood.

I answer if I think I might be able to contribute something of value. I don't usually answer if the questioner is obviously a kid who's "big" problem is just nonsense.
I skip right over those who are guys getting their kicks out of talking dirty, nasty, or insulting.

I will answer questions that will benefit the person from my own experience. If I haven't had any experience pertaining to the question then I can't give sound advice or my opinion. I hate when people ask stupid questions that they already know the answer to but, hey this is the world that we live in.

I answer the questions that mean something to me personally. or just interest me. If it takes me a while to think of what to say, or the question is confusing I skip it.

If it appears that there is a REAL problem and I can somehow help, I prefer those ones. Alot seem to be the same stupid questions. I do look at profiles do you? Check out my new 360 blog and call if you like
