they are both pretty equal
them are 2 of the top 4 free antiviruses
between those 2..i would choose avg because i have used it b4 and it is pretty user friendly
where to avast was nice but i didnt like the interface
it kinda looks like a jukebox player
it was ok but i would choose avg between these 2
honestly though...if u are awanting free antivirus

It's been my experience that both are quite good. What I've been hearing, though, is that some folks are confused about AVAST, because it requires a re-registration about every 14 months. For most, that's easy, but for computer novices it can be a hassle, and AVG doesn't require that. So, just on that basis alone, I'd recommend AVG.

Definitely Avast. I used to have AVG but my computer would get a lot of viruses and i had to reformat it a couple of times. but since ive gotten avast I havent had a virus since.

Your best bet is AVG.... Works very well and protects you all the time your computer is on.... Can't go wrong with this one and it's FREE!
