Ladies: Could you translate this convo for me?
This was an aim convo tonight with a girl I knew from college I haven't seen since. I kind of had a thing for her then and thought she may have been interested then.....
Me: I was thinking, I can give you a call sometime
Me: if you'd like to catchup over coffee one of these nights
Girl: i hate to say it but my phone is busted right now it took an unexpected swim at work (job hazard) but i am home a lot now and catching up on my internet thing so hows about an email?
Me: that works
Girl: my screen name is my email address at aol so drop me a line
me: ok cool
me: you going to be around to meet in Boston one of these days?
Girl: it could be done
Girl: well im getting old so its off to bed have a good night and ill talk to ya later
Me: you too
Me: take care
Girl: peace!
What does this sound like?
And one more thing? Did I do anything wrong or was I pushy in the convo or did everything just fine. Even though she may not have been interested, can I take solace in finally asking her out? She seemed interested in college. But that was then I guess.

ok well its deff not u its her she seems to be a little hesitant! from that little bit of a conv. i cant tell why shes being hesitant but i would just gradually talk to her! just make her really get to kno u more and just try to get her more comfortable with u and going out with u! hope this helps! =) good luck!

Time has passed since college and since you didn't make the move then the reason she might have been a little cold is 1. You took too long to show interest. 2. She was really tired, didn't expect you online and hadn't the patience to talk now. She did however tell you that she's available on line. My advice, try her another time, if she likes you she'll meet you. Don't over think it. Good night.

I would just talk to her for a little while longer. Keep talking to her via aim and maybe send her an email saying that you are glad you got to talk to her and that you had been thinking about her. If she is interested she will email you back. I am not sure how long it has been since you have seen her. You say that you haven't seen her since college but I am not sure how long its been since you guys were in college. I would just keep talking to her. Get to know her now. People change over time. Ask her about her interests now and ask her what she does with herself to keep busy and what shows she likes to watch or what kind of music she likes or what she likes to do.

She doesn't sound interested in the least and if she were she would certainly have been more up front with offering to give you her phone number as soon as it was working.
