Yet another dumb question on yahoo answers. Wow. Never ceases to amaze me the people that come up with "did you know Canada is in USA union" or "is Canada part of the US". First of all, proper grammar would be greatly appreciated. Second of all, Canada is an independent nation, and NOT part of the U.S. Geez Louise!

What is "USA union"? Do you even know how to write properly? Last time I checked, Canada was an independent nation that was also part of the British Commonwealth. The only thing we share with the USA is a border.

Gotta love the misinformed. Canada, the U.S. and Mexico are proposing a trading block called the North American Union to compete with Asian and European trading blocks. It is a trading union only. Canada is and will remain an independent nation although many uninformed people seem to feel otherwise.

Hell would freeze over before we would consider ourselves part of the US union. We like the real freedom afforded us as Canadians (its nice to travel and not be hated around the world), besides we are a sovereign nation under the umbrella of the British Commonwealth.

There is nothing like you're describing. You've been misinformed. Canada has its own unique culture, our own government, and best of all our own mind. We are neighbors with the US, that's all.

Do your parents know you play on the internet when they aren't looking? Or do they think you are doing homework? I would concentrate on geography and history if I were you.
