You should not breed these dogs as you don't even know enough to NOT take a 6 week old puppy from its mother and litter mates. The breeder you got it from is an idiot and further more, why are you even thinking about breeding a baby?
You should have your animals taken from you in my opinion.

Six weeks old is too young to be away from his momma, and by the time he is old enough to breed the female will be four years old. That isn't right. You need to get them spayed and neutered. APBT's can have large litters, and no one is going to buy a puppy if its parents are unregistured, unless their using it for fighting. Get your dogs fixed.

Anytime you're introducing new dogs to one another, you want to do it in small increments and only under strict supervision. I would suggest putting the pup into a crate and allowing them smell each other through there before direct contact. Then when you do allow them together, I'd have a leash on the adult so if she tries to do anything, you can easily pull her back. I wouldn't allow them alone together until you are sure they are fine.
I also wouldn't suggest breeding unless you are FULLY educated on it and have experience.

The fact that you have this particular breed leads me to believe that your intention is financial gain.
Please - leave dog breeding to people who know what they are doing.
Have your dogs fixed (spayed or neutered) and just enjoy them as pets!

The best way to introduce them is first let them smell eachother, and then just give them some time to bond and play with eachother :-)

I would not breed them. There are many areas that prohibit the purposeful breeding of them.
