I dont' see anywhere that you put what the actual speed limit was? Some school zones where I was a cop were 20 mph.
I am sure the officer appreciated your insight and wisdom on how he wasn't doing the job properly, I always did.
My advice is when you get pulled over, to try and listen and tell the officer you were wrong.
I didn't always write tickets, and the people who were honest sure had a better shot at it.
And incidentally most officers don't really care if you are white, black or whatever... Othan than they are probably on better behavior if your color is different than theirs so they avoid the race card.
I have been stopped by a State Trooper (black if it matters) who was completely rude and bawled me out in front of my kids, etc. and repeatedly asked me "aren't you supposed to be a police officer?"
I just listened, didn't argue back and when he got done yelling at me I got a warning ticket. I was embarassed in front of my kids, and wanted to go off, but staying cool saved me from a ticket. I know some cops are obnoxious, but just be polite and get thru the encounter, I've been on both sides.

I don't know who was right or wrong, but I will say that Cops treat people like people treat cops. Think of that next time. Put yourself in their shoes for a while, they are putting up with the worst of the worst day in and day out. Keep that in mind.

Jeez, I can see the whole thing now! Cop (Thinking to himself) " I'm bored, that taco I had for lunch is making me sick, man it's hot out here, what a crappy day, think I'll stop this kid who isn't speeding and chew him out". Do you really expect all these people on Yahoo Answers to be so stupid as to believe you were just driving the speed limit, minding your own business and an officer stops you for no reason and threatens you with jail, all because he has nothing else to do at the time? Please, don't waste our time with stupid Waah Waah crap like this.

first off you must slow down bc children can run in the road and get hit. You are mad because the cop was doing his job by protecting children, yet if it was your child in school and some how managed to make his/her way into the road an get run over because a crazed driver like yourself can't follow the law you would be the first to complain. So tell me what makes you happy, is there a happy medium???

well if he knew by vision you were some type of child molestor driving in a school zone so slow, he may have just wanted to check you, but for his actions in that way, he was wrong, I would report it to his superiors asap, hope you got his name and badge number
