1. Why not egg whites?

2. Do they get a cholestoral problem if fed too much eggs? ( coz was told egg yolks nourishes cats to have a beautiful shiny coat )

3. Can they eat Cheese? ( my kitty likes to pillage my cheddar slices when I am not looking, I usually laugh so hard at his cleverness and antics that I just cannot bring myself to scold him :))

For starters, I have never heard that cats shouldn't eat egg whites, and there is really no reason why they shouldn't eat them. They are a very good source of protein. Secondly, it is the egg yolk that has the cholesterol of the egg, and it is good cholesterol, the kind that actually helps get rid of the bad cholesterol. Thirdly, most cats (and dogs for that matter) are lactose intolerant and usually milk and cheese will give them tummy problems. But if yourlittle guy or gal eats it with no worries then maybe a bit of a limit on how much is all he or she needs.
