I feel for you. I am a Christian of 10 years and there have been times when I doubted and questioned. But Jesus was always there to to address my concerns. What is it that Jesus has done to give you such suspicions? Believing really does come from the heart so all I can suggest is get quiet and pray. Okay, one more suggestion. Pick up a copy of The Unusual Suspect by actor Stephen Baldwin (Alec's brother). Let a guy who had everything and no need for Jesus tell his amazing story. It's an easy read – funny, down-to-earth, and enlightening. Please do that. Okay?

Not all religions are so confusing. If something in your heart is telling you not to believe in Jesus, trust your instincts. Gut instincts never lie. He may not be the God for you and you might need to look at other religions. Or maybe you might be happier being an Atheist. You do not need religion to be a good person or to live a fulling life.
And you are not going to Hell. There is no such thing. It's a made up scare tactic used by people trying to frighten people into believing in their God.

Well don't give up. The problem is that we've all been taught that if we ever question what we believe, we're in immediate danger. I'm a youth minister and everyday I ask students to do what you are doing. Examine what you believe and don't be scared to ask questions. Jesus wasn't afraid of a few questions. After all, doesn't questioning it suggest that you are trying to decide whether you should completely dive into your faith full fledge? As far as I see, that's alot further than most Christians go. Feel free to let me know if you have any specific questions and I'd be glad to help you talk through them! thedukefactor@yahoo.com

Religion is confusing. Jesus is the way. Ask Holy Spirit into you heart, then it is easier to understand His Word. It is not easy to do what is asked from us, but Jesus died for our sins.
Satan is trying to put doubt in your heart. Find a good church home to yourself. The place where you can be spiritually fed. Where people break into small groups to discuss and study God"s Word.
Seek Him. It is His promise to never leave you alone here. You will find Him when you seek Him truly. It takes time. Give it time. : ) Seek Him and you are not surely going to hell.
Pray about it!

Religion is man made. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He never made up religions. There are different people who come with the names. Life the Pharisee, the Sadducee's. If you will read about them they had made up so many laws for people to follow. When Jesus ask them why they don't keep them. They got mad at Him. God gave us the ten commandments to protect us from the things that can hurt us. So many people look at it and say He is trying to stop us from having fun. Sin is fun for a while then you have to pay the price for it. God wants us to come to Him, and depend on Him. He will bless you and take care of you. Life is Hard, but God is good. He will guide you if you will accept Him as your personnel Savior. Read the book of John. He will show you the way. God bless you.

Your heart is trying to lead you. Let go, follow it, and don’t give to Christian rhetoric.
Try yoga. It’s not a religion, its movement, and flow. Some try to connect it to one thing or another but just use it to slow down and relax. There are many very spiritual people out there following many paths, and helping many people. God is not so cruel as to say you are a saint and a enlightened being you have helped many people now go to hell for not believing in Jesus.

Religion didn't confuse people, we are the one who get confuse with the teaching if we do not have a in depth study, research and contemplation, even come to the extent to challenge the teaching when it dosen't make sense and sound logical to us, but just rather 'believe' becasue one's say so, the books say so, or our peer say so.
DO NOT JUST BELIEVE FOR THE SAKE OF BELIEVING.
So now, is time go to have a more in depth research and exploring before you commit to any religion which 'speak' to you.

Don't listen to your heart,
Jer 17:9 The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Trust God's Word.
1Ti 1:15 This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Religion (all not-commanded practices associated with piety) is confusing. Jesus Christ isn't.
You know the story. He was God and God's Son, he died for our sins so we have a chance to develop a relationship with God and get to Heaven......
there's nothing confusing, He just takes time to know. Stay with Him, and he won't let you down. If you feel he has, tell God, and he'll help you. Never give up faith.
