the easiest way to lure hogs onto your property is to put a deer feeder up and fill it with corn. you can also add a fruit type flavored powder to it and put off a really strong smell. honestly, you don't want hogs on your property. they destroy the land and make it nearly unuseable. they will hurt your deer and turkey hunting and tear up pasture land if you have cattle. if you know that there are hogs in the area around you, nearly any farmer will let you hunt thier land for hogs for free. here in texas we call them texas fire ants. if you just really want hogs quickly, you can buy them at auction sales. check with local cattle auctions. they are cheap too.

Before you "lure" wild hogs to your property you need to remember that they will do hundreds and thousands of dollars worth of damage in a short time. Plus your neighbors propertys as well.

I would hunt areas already infested if possible. You'll be doing the right thing.

They aren't picky. Just about any veggie will do, but be careful what you wish for. Once they come, they'll tear up your land like you wouldn't believe. You can shoot a few, but the rest will be a real nuisance. If your land can handle it, though, the things are loads of fun to hunt.

Hogs will east most anything. Peas, corn, beets, any root type crop is fine to them.
