I'm gay and I don't see how there could be a god who made me and then called me bad, and immoral. That's just stupid! If there was some kinda true proof... not just some lady who saw jesus in her chalupa.

i'm a christian and God called me bad and immoral, but He came down in the form of man (as Jesus) and forgave the sins i have commited. Now i am trying to do His will that He has for me. He created the world perfectly, we trashed it and He came to clean it up.

i could list some arguments here, but then you would have more questions. I would suggest reading Christian Ethics:Norman l. Geisler, Evidence for Christianity: Josh McDowell, Case for Christianity: C.S. Lewis (very short), and checking out the websites apologetics.com and christiananswers.net

i don't see how there could be ooze that made me and then called me a monkey's uncle. that's just stupid, if there was some kinda true proof...not just some guy by himself on an island who saw a bird and said, "monkey's look like people, ergo we were monkeys".

I can tell by your question alone you are not serious. But I will answer anyway.

God made you, via your parents & your parents parents, etc, etc. all the way back to Adam & Eve. Whom God also made. God put them in paradise, the Garden of Eden, and gave them 1 command/rule, "DO NOT EAT OF THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD & EVIL!" The punnishment of that sin was to be separated from God, via sin. God didn't make them sin! They chose to, they brought that punnishment on us, God simply allowed it. We are not bad, we are sinful by nature.

I would encourage you to read the Bible even just once from cover to cover, even if afterwards you toss it! That way you can at least ask serious questions about a faith you have never understood! The book of Romans is a great place to start... Very explanatory. However I highly doubt very many atheists or others of other faiths have ever read the Bible cover-to-cover, including some Christian faiths. Catholics & Mormons are a great example of Christian faiths that say they read the Bible but doesn’t!

God made everybody and everything....Nothing stupid about it...Sin by man, made all the imperfections in the world, which began with Eve, Adam and the Apple ( forbidden fruit from the tree of Life) and has continued through the generations. Belief in God comes by faith, the proof is in that...God Bless.

You just nailed reason number 3 why I don't believe there is a God. And if there is, I want no part of him if he will hold against one of his creations their ability to love another human being, regardless of gender.

Who knows how god really feels about it anyway... all we have is interpretation of the words he supposedly inspired some guy to write down so long ago, we have no idea if it's actually true. Skip it.

i say God. The bible might be contradicting but remember that it wasn't written by God. it was written by different people. And i know this God loves everyone. EVERYONE.

You think you are special ? Or others don't wrestle with their own weaknesses ? Whatever your preferences, it's your choice, and your reward or punishment to come. Choose.
