With Buspar it wouldn't be a huge problem.
Lithium is a different story-you really shouldn't drink any alcohol while you're taking it.

Alcohol causes the lithium and the buspar to not work at its full potential and slowly decreases the more you drink. Drinking with those medications can also cause nausea. What you choose to do is up to you. I just wanted to provide you with the information.

it is up to you to make the decision because it is your body and your health.... but i would talk to your doctor first before you do. i doubt it is safe though because lithium and buspar are processed through the liver. and alcohol is too. you do not want to mess up your blood levels or do anything to risk liver failure. or anything that would reduce the effectiveness of your meds. if you do decide to drink while on meds, please don't drive because your reflexes would be seriously affected and i wouldn't want you to hurt yourself or someone else.

be safe and be smart and be well!

Sure....but if your waking up naked in themorning and not remembering what happened the night before it would be a good indication that you should stop.

EVERY DOCTOR AND PHARMASIST WILL TELL YOU AND RIGHTFULLY SO YOU SHOULD NEVER DRINK WITH ANY OF THESE TYPE OF DRUGS. THEY ARE ALL CNS (CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM) DEPRESSANTS AND YOU ARE PLAYING RUSSIAN ROULETTE ANY TIME YOU DO IT.

IT SEEMS LIKE IT SHOULD BE INNOCENT ENOUGH BUT "VIOLA" PEOPLE CAN DO THINGS MANY TIMES UN-EVENTFULLY AND THEN ONE TIME ALL THE STARS IN YOUR BODY ALIGN AND BOOM YOUR DEAD!

JUST SAY NO.....PLEASE!
