My left knee?
My left knee hurts and it has this big bump on it, and when I move, walk, stand up for more than 5 minutes or am holding more than about 15 lb it hurts. WHy and what can I do to cease the pain?

It depends on where the "bump" is. If it is in the front, around the kneecap, you may have prepatellar bursitis, or an inflammation of the bursa sack. Start out on some ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil or Aleve) and decrease your activities that cause the pain. If the pain and swelling continues, definitely see either your family physician or an orthopedic surgeon. They may be able to do an injection of cortisone or, if the bursal sac is filled too much, aspirate some of the fluid out.

try to take pain but if that doesnt work try to go doctor
