I read somewhere recently that, per capita, Thailand spends more annually on food purchased from outdoor food vendors than any other country. So, in an odd sort of way, you could think of Thailand as one giant outdoor restaurant.

Officially, Thailand is a country..

But, it is not wrong if a restaurant named itself "Thailand".

So, Thailand can be a country which no doubt about it, and it can be a restaurant as it is just another restaurant name like Paris.

No Thailand is a country in South East Asia. Look it up on the map, then visit your local Thai restaurant and enjoy the excellent cuisine.

There might be some restaurant with this name. But basically we are a country and rather than a restaurant, I think that we are more like the kitchen of the world! We export all kinds of quality food to many countries.
