I've had 3 kids, and I've got a six-pack, for one reason- Incline sit ups. On a bench slanted at an angle, and your legs hanging over the top from the knees down, and do full sit ups like that. Because some of your weight is being supported by your knees, it doesn't stress your back and neck, has a broader range of motion to get ALL the ab muscles. This gets easy faster than you'd think, and when that happens, hold a weight on your chest for extra resistance. You can vary twisting your torso to target the obliques. Another good one is straight out of "An Officer and a Gentleman" and hold your ankles 6 inches off the ground for as long as you can ten times a day.
Forget that keg, I'll take that six-pack! Thank you!
You won't be disappointed

Everyone has "abs" but they aren't as defined in some people, they are covered in fat. Yes you should stop until you are tired and sore. I've heard from doctors that women need some fat down there when they get pregnant. Start out with twenty a day, and add 5 each day. Split it in half, some in morning and some at night.

I was told once that your abs should be worked out at a minimum of 8 minutes per day (my old personal trainer)....Be sure to do a variety of "crunches"....do some for your sides, lower, upper, and core abs. good luck!

Well, I do about 250 per day. So that could get you abs.
Once a week though. Every other day I do 150 push ups. Or about. But I got a reason to do it, not to look better and healthier.
So beginning though, start with 50 first week, then increase by 20 each other week till you hit about 200.

I used to do 3 sets of 200 2 times a day, with a break between every set of about 1.5 minutes just until the abs would not feel like they were about to explode. But I'm a male, just push your self HARD and do what feels right. remember no pain NO GAIN!

Don't do any. Crunches aren't very effective at building strong abs. Do sit ups (with bent knees) instead. All the way up to your knees and then slowly back down.

It relies upon on how properly you do crunches. I constantly experience 2 tiers of discomfort in my abdomen muscle mass every time I do crunches. the 1st point is a widespread discomfort, and it feels widespread. I paintings via those, and attempt complicated to flex the muscle mass easily and completly. Then the 2d point instruments in. The muscle mass start to experience complicated to stretch while shifting on the way down or on the way up. That indicators to me that that's basically approximately time to end, so I do 5 gradual crunches, attempting to cause them to stable, yet that's sufficient. you're able to experience that greater desirable burn in some crunches, or in user-friendly terms after dozens of crunches. It relies upon on how properly you're doing them, as much as how stable your muscle mass truly are.

according to some doctors/physical therapists, crunches are pretty bad for the bones and muscles of your chest and neck. doing crunches can possibly cause damages(even permanent) especially when you are using the wrong muscles to life your head.
there are many alternatives that you can do to get similar results.
and you should always exercise in the amount according to your own strength and limit.
