Have you ever met a really ugly person, if so describe why/how they were so ugly.?
i mean, my friends are always saying so and so is hideous/totally ugly etc, but i have to say i've so far never met a young /healthy person who i would consider totally ugly, most people are not that below average and have some nice feature about them

some ugly ppl are so ugly, that there beautiful...you just gotta look at them constantly!!!

There is a woman I know who is ugly inside and out. Her features are irregular and don't quite go together. That would mean nothing at all if it wasn't for the fact that she stabs people in the back, all the while pretending to be friendly. Her complaining is bad enough, but the mean comments are worse. Obviously she has had some problems along the line, but it's a shame her co-workers have to suffer too.

The word ugly, only comes from those who are immature, intoxicated or high on drugs. If not, then just because a person has different features, of which also are caring, loving within, that they do not see or will admit to. don't know where it came from, but when younger in school, and most made fun of someone different, I had many a problems defending them only to find out, thru school and after, they became dedicated, loving, helping friends. Your friends are too self centered on their looks, they will find out as they mature

Even though their are ugly people out there, they actually make up for with their personality. Most of the time they have a great personality and are easier to get along with.
others not so much. they freak me out by the way they look and act.

I really don't see 'ugly' in someone until they truly reveal who they are inside. I remember a girl in high school that was like that. She certainly was no raving beauty but I really didn't consider her 'ugly' until I saw how she treated other people that were not in her clique of friends. She would constantly put down and belittle others, and her and her friends made it their mission to hurt people who didn't have money, did not follow the in crowd, etc. Like someone on here said, ugly truly does come from within.

Many years ago I worked with a guy who was incredibly homely. He was so thin he looked skeletal, he was mostly balding, and what hair he had was very light reddish blonde. The man was physically not attractive.
However, if you spent 10 minutes with him, he was such a nice person you forgot he wasn't attractive. All the women he worked with adored him!! Myself included, and I'm not the type to get all into some guy.

Yeah, this one chick that was like 40 and fat and wore her hair slicked back in a tight pony tail with peroxide blonde hair and huge chunky blue eye shadow. I can see a really pretty person though and still think they are ugly if they have a personality of a huge jerk.

Yes, someone cruel and who enjoys belittling others and making kind people squirm. Uses their good nature to insult and patronize and speak in a condesending manner. A regular Joan Crawford from "Whatever happened to baby Jane" and "Mommie Dearest" Totall power freaks, mean eyes, sly, one sided leering smiles, living to hurt peoples feelings. When they hear you perfectly well they will purposely say, with a leering smile of course--"were you saying something?" "were you speaking to ME?" They will tell everyone How to NOT do everything. This is extreme ugliness.

A person can only be ugly based on their inside. If they are rude, mean, hateful, etc. However, everyone has nice qualities both inside and out, and therefore, no one is ugly.
We are all beautiful in God's eyes. :)

One thing I have found that can really make a person ugly is personality. If someone is completely dull, I think it can make a person that is attractive by looks ugly all the way around.

Yes- it is nice to be politically correct, but come on- we all know that some people are more pleasing to look at than others. It does not mean that they are less valuable- in most cases that I've come across, really good looking people tend to be shallow and empty and very self absorbed.
