dEAR god,

, hope you got the letter, and...
I pray you can make it better down here.
I don't mean a big reduction in the price of beer
but all the people that you made in your image, see
them starving on their feet 'cause they don't get
enough to eat from God, I can't believe in you

Dear God, sorry to disturb you, but... I feel that I should be heard
loud and clear. We all need a big reduction in amount of tears
and all the people that you made in your image, see them fighting
in the street 'cause they can't make opinions meet about God,
I can't believe in you

Did you make disease, and the diamond blue? Did you make
mankind after we made you? And the devil too!

DEAR god , don't know if you noticed, but... your name is on
a lot of quotes in this book, and us crazy humans wrote it, you
should take a look, and all the people that you made in your
image still believing that junk is true.

Well I know it ain't, and
so do you, dear God, I can't believe in I don't believe in

I won't believe in heaven and hell. No saints, no sinners, no
devil as well. No pearly gates, no thorny crown. You're always
letting us humans down. The wars you bring, the babes you
drown. Those lost at sea and never found, and it's the same the
whole world 'round. The hurt I see helps to compound that
Father, Son and Holy Ghost is just somebody's unholy hoax,
and if you're up there you'd perceive that my heart's here upon
my sleeve. If there's one thing I don't believe in

it's you....DEAR GOD

I think it's awful. Really. God is not to blame for anything...it's people who blame him because they have to point a finger somewhere. They use God as a scapegoat for the problems in the world...instead of mankind. Remember...anything evil cannot come from the Lord.

i must admit, it was very very good. (don't read below if you don't wanna hear jabber)

this poem is basically saying, because bad things happen to good people, i don't believe in God. I am sorry the writer feels this way, and he/she can only see the bad things that happen. there are many factors into whether a bad thing is bad in the present or in the future. Killing babies is wrong all the time yes, but maybe that babie's parents will become the leader of a group that saves thousands of other babies from whatever. humans will never entirely understand why bad things happen to good people. There is just to much depth into the personality of God that humans can't understand.

Very depressing. And perhaps a bit angry. Why bother to write to God if you don't believe? Why spend so much time on it? It sounds like you are a very loving and sensitive person who has been deeply hurt. I wonder if you are maybe just very angry and want God to not exist because of your anger. Otherwise I don't see why you would waste you time pondering all of this. May you work out whatever it is that you are trying to resolve. I wish you peace.

I don't think much about what you wrote...I just think it is written by someone who has never met Jesus and gave their life to him...it is blasphemy by stating that we made him....such foolishness....I find it sad how those who don't believe in God still blame him for everything bad that happens in their life...and for all of the hurt and hunger etc....doesn't that strike you funny too....one cant blame a God for something that is happening to them especially if they have no belief that the God is even real.....very nonsensical don't you think?.....instead of blaming a God that you don't even believe exists why not blame mankind for all of the evils and the hurting and the hunger and the selfishness...why blame a God that doesn't even exist according to you..........or why not blame the devil?....oh you don't believe in him either?....but yet you don't believe in God but blame him....makes no sense at all...

Why would anyone write a letter to someone that they believe will never read it because the recepient doesn't exist? According to this letter, the only people to blame for the price of beer, the lack of food, the tears, disease, etc., is humanity.

I love that song. It's a good one. I believe in God and love God. I understand what the song is saying though. I feel some of what it says, it's understandable when you think about how the world is. Oh and by the way I'm not christian. Xtc-the music group that did this song. good song i'm tellin ya.

I think the author is crying out for God to reveal Himself to him/her. Read the book "The Case for Faith" by Lee Strobel. In in you will find the answers as to why God allows starvations, droughts and evil to flourish. It's not Gods fault, we are allowing it. Another great read is "The Signature Of God" by Grant Jeffrey that will prove the bible is 100% accurate. Peace :-)

My goodness, that is really not so good. When God created us He gave us free will. To me that means that we can't blame Him for all the things we do. Also, if you don't believe in God, why on Earth are you writing a poem to Him?

Ok. Well if you notice, Jesus, who was written about not only in the Bible but also in many historical texts of the time, not to mention the amount of historical truth in the Bible, came and died for our sins. Jesus didn't come down to save the world from war, or suffering, he came to take away your sins. Of all things he could've saved, He saved everyone from their own sin. Ok, lets think of this.
If Jesus came down to take away all war. All of it, all violence, everything, Which he could easily do. What would happen? What about AIDS? Cancer? Starvation?
Jesus came to take away the sins of the world, which solves all of them, if every single person on earth would accept Him.
God didn't make man's sin. Man chose sin. God made the high angel, Lucifer, but HE chose to become jealous and be better than God. Yes, God made lucifer, but he didn't make the devil. The devil chose that himself.
Yes, God made man in his own image, but not all man is God. God didn't make man to fight against each other, but to love. God gave man the CHOICE to choose whether he wants to love one another, or kill one another. you can't blame everything man does on God. because it is Man's own choice to do that. Everything terrible on earth was brought here not by God, but by the choice of man.

i think of it extremely is greater bothering to the askers themselves. The asker would be greater worrying to envision them. and that i could desire to assert that no longer all long solutions are for propoganda's purposes and not all of them are decrease&paste ones...on the different hand, each and every so often they are mandatory once you get a extreme question. Peace
