Truth or Consequences, New Mexico (it was originally Hot Springs but a game show challenged a town to change its name to the show's name and Hot Springs was the first to do so). It's a true story. Locally, it's called T or C.

Normal, Oklahoma
Hell, Norway (I had my Eurail pass stamped there so that I could say that I've been to Hell and back...)
Bangs Beach, Maine
Climax Springs, Missouri

I also heard that there was a town called Bob in either Texas or Nebraska...the town voted to name itself after a very common name.
