So, he asked me out on wednesday. We have liked each other for along time and have known each other for almost 7 years. He's really sweet. He even keeps his promises to call me! My problem is that our first date is Sunday and I was the one who mentioned it. He invited me to other things they just didn't work out. We are going to see The Epic Movie so should I pay? I was the one who brought up us going. Do I pay for only me, for both of us, or not at all? Thanks a bunch for your answers!

Since it is a first date, chances are that he will pay. What I would suggest doing is taking money with intent to pay, for yourself that is. But wait to break out your money til it is actually time to buy your tickets. Chances are he will offer, especially if he is any type of gentleman. But I always go prepared to pay, just in case.

Well if it were me, then i would bring money enough for the both of both just in case and it might turn up that he is a gentleman and will end up paying for everything. Which is what happens 95% of the time.

Hmmm...this is a hard question, but I would bring enough money for both of you and plan on paying. He sounds like a really nice guy so, he might suggest to pay for both of you. If he does say either it's my treat or let's split it half and half. Don't make him pay for both of you because you were the one who asked him on the date.

Offer to pay for something, whether it be the ticket or popcorn or going for ice cream afterwards. If he is worth your time, he will at least offer to pay his way for everything.

Hes the man let him pay but just incase bring money for two....Or share and if he pays for the movies you pay for snacks vice versa.... so that way you both pay your ways.....But if he pays for everything than thats good lolz... Good luck

Bring money for both of you just in case. When you ask for the tickets, pull out your money. If he says he has money, pay for yourself, or if he says he has it, let him pay but be sure to thank him with a kiss! <---jk you don't have to, i just think its cute.

I'd say definitely offer to pay, but give him the oppurtunity to pay half, or maybe for snacks, don't pay for all of it unless you have to. He sounds like he'll probably offer to pay for all of it though.

girl offers to pay for drinks after he has paid, but guy should step in and pay for that aswell
thats how ive always done it, and as it should be.
but worst happens, pay for own stuff, but no dont pay for his movie ticket

Split it up. One of you pays for tickets the other pays for snacks.
