Nothing. The difference is in whether the Jewish person has faith grounded in Judaism or in the belief that Jesus is the fulfillment of Judaism (the "anointed one"). The strange thing is that the apostle Paul makes it clear in his letter to the Romans (9-11) that people who aren't Jews are grafted into the Jewish family through the work of Jesus, not that Gentiles are the new family of God apart from the Jews (as some Christians assume)... essentially what I am saying is that true Judaism must be based on the truth that Jesus is the Messiah and therefore is the fulfillment of the OT scriptures. So in reality, if Jesus is the Messiah, then the Christian faith is real Judaism.

1. Traditions vs. Belief
Judaism believes that in order to get to Paradise, you need to do good works and not just believe in G-d. You can believe in G-d and be a perfectly nasty person. Ask any cult leader. Judaism is much more works oriented than Chr*stianity is. Also, Judaism still follows all the old laws of the Torah, while Chr*stianity believes that J*sus abolished/fulfilled the old laws.
2. Bible
Chr*stianity believes in the first five books of Moses (our Torah) and the Psalms and the New Testament as their Bible. Judaism has the Tanakh, which is the Torah, Ktuvim, (writings such as Psalms) and Nevi'im (prophets). The Tanakh is the Written Law, and we also have the Oral Law, which we believe G-d also gave to Moses at Sinai the same time as the Written Law. Chr*stianity does not believe in the Oral Law period, and most sects believe it is devilish.
3. Interpretation
Judaism believes in a non literal interpretation of the Torah (i.e. Evolutionism does not conflict with Torah, so therefore Jews believe in it) while Xtianity believes in a very literal interpretation of the Bible and so Evolutionism is not okay for most. Also, when we move out of the Torah and into Prophets and Writings, Chr*stians take it non literally, while Judaism takes it literally. (Ex: The scripture is that Moshiach is supposed to rebuild the Temple. Chr*stianity believes this meant J*sus' body, hence a non literal interpretation. Judaism believes that this means the man who is Moshiach really will rebuild the Temple.)
4. Messiah
Judaism believes Moshiach is still to come, and that he will be a mortal man and NOT an offspring/part of/section of G-d. He will be an ordinary man and could even be among us now: and he will fulfill all the messianic prophesies before he dies. Chr*stianity believes the messiah has come and will accomplish all the messianic prophesies in his second coming.
Peace

Jews believe in the same God, the God of Israel, or Yahweh. Christians believe that the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament has come and gone, while the Jewish people are still waiting for his arrival. Most Christians don't observe the ceremonial laws while most Jews do.

jews and christians have radically different perspectives on almost all issues. go to this wikipedia article which contrasts the two religions in terms of things like opinions about love, abortion, capital punishment, the death penalty, the afterlife, the messiah, concept of G-d, etc...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judaism_and_christianity
this page explains all the differences pretty clearly (although it does focus a bit more on judaism, probably because more people know the christian stance on things is but aren't familar at all with the jewish stance)

Christians are reformed Jews and Pagans and whoever is willing to espouse belief in a messiah and whatever particulars of each different sect of monotheistic superstitions. the Catholics even go so far as to call themselves Judeo- Christian because they realize jesus was a jew and they still believe the old testament is not inconflict with the new improved version.it's all hog wash to me and I believe the future will seperate moral values taught from the superstitious beliefs that taint and confuse.

The primary difference is that Jews don't see Jesus as their Messiah. They're still waiting for him to show up. There are some rituals prescribed in the Old Testament, like circumcision, that do not apply to Christians. But we worship the same God.

We don't believe in jesus, and are waiting for our messiah.
"Christians identify Messiah with Jesus and define him as God incarnated as a man, and believe he died for the sins of humanity as a blood sacrifice. This means that one has to accept the idea that one person's death can atone for another person's sins. However, this is opposed to what the Bible says in Deuteronomy 24:26, "Every man shall be put to death for his own sin," which is also expressed in Exodus 32:30-35, and Ezekiel 18. The Christian idea of the messiah also assumes that God wants, and will accept, a human sacrifice. After all, it was either Jesus-the-god who died on the cross, or Jesus-the-human. Jews believe that God cannot die, and so all that Christians are left with in the death of Jesus on the cross, is a human sacrifice. However, in Deuteronomy 12:30-31, God calls human sacrifice an abomination, and something He hates: "for every abomination to the Eternal, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods." All human beings are sons or daughters, and any sacrifice to God of any human being would be something that God would hate"
