why american people don't care persecution of falun gong spiritua l movement that takes place in china ?

Actually the American people do care but there is only so much we can do. The governments are in the position of power and prefer to keep the status quo. We have prayer groups at church for this, support missionary work and humanitarian groups. I pray the people of China can have some freedoms, including freedom of religion.

That's because Americans generally don't know about what Chinese is and even less about Falun Gong. For those who do, they don't want to jeopardize their business prospects with China. While for the American government, it doesn't want to provoke any political conflict that may further strain military and economic ties. So the American government won't bother China and China will continue to get along fine with American government and vice versa.

They don't care about the persecution of Tibetans there, either. They don't even care about the persecution of other Christians in China because... well face it, China is kinda far.

I "care" in a philosophical experience. yet frankly, i think of usa's gotten itself in sufficient hassle already via getting in touch interior the religious ideals of yet another u . s . a ..
