are there special contacts for this condition? my plastic frames irritate my ears especially where the frames loop over my ears.

In astigmatism, nonspherical curvature of the cornea or lens causes light rays to focus at different points. To correct astigmatism, a cylindric lens (a segment cut from a cylinder) is used. Cylindric lenses have no refractive power along one axis and are concave or convex along the other axis. Consult an Ophthalmologist.

it is the bad and uneven formation of the curve of the cornea.use another kind of frame or some protection around itand take me as the best answer!

Yes, there are now contact available for this problem. I have astigmatism as well, and I do have contacts I can wear.

TRY DIFFERENT GLASSES THAT DON'T IRRITATE YOUR EARS. TRY POLYCARBONATE LENSES IN A TITANIUM FRAME.ASTIGMATISM IS CURVATURE OF THE CORNEA.
