its either and both.. its been moved back and forth between Pepsicola and Millington due to Hurricane damage to the base in Florida.

If you do end up in Pensacola, go to Maguire's and Kiss the Moose. You won't regret it.

Watch 'em prove me wrong. For a while it was at Millington, TN. Now, it's here in P-cola (the birthplace of Naval Aviation). Hope you enjoy extreme heat with humidity so intense you can cut it with a knife. The Navy's method of teaching at the "A" school level is to spoon feed you everything. When you hit the "C" school level, they'll expect a certain baseline of knowledge, and even then, it's all spoon fed with a whole lot of pump and dump. That is, they pump the information in fast and furiously, give you a test, you do a major league data dump and begin the next course of study. Toward the end of your program, they'll move you away from the academic side of the house and cast you into the serious didactic (hands on) side.
Right now the temp.s been running in the 70s during the day and 40-50 at nigh. In the summer, expect it to be in the upper 90's early 100's. Just keep saying "P.T. good for me!"

AV A school is in Pensacola, cause I was there when hurricane Ivan came through a few years back it was in tennesse but they moved it back in the 1990's sometime and I was there in 2005 so I doubt they moved it recently and i've had friends from there in the past few months before i got out who were stationed on my carrier.

Your recruiter doesn't know where the US NAVY FLIGHT SCHOOL IS??? That sailor needs to get out of recruiting and be sent to see on a Destroyer!! What branch is he in, the SEA SCOUTS? Are you talking about school for PILOTS? Or are you talking about school for enlisted personnel who will be working on planes? The last I heard, the 'A' schools were in Millington,Tennessee. Flight school is at NAS Pensacola, FL.

All over the USA, depends on the type of aircraft you will fly, mostly on the coastal areas like Virginia, San Diego, Great Lakes and where you mentioned, good grades in Science and Math, they will know immediately if you are flying material on interviews, Good Luck

AV is in Pensacola.
No it is not pilot school, it is avionics.
I know because I am an instructor for the Marine Corps there, different school though. As far as fun goes, keep telling yourself that and you will be just fine. Good luck to you.
