Static in your hair is from a couple of reason. Partly from the weather and partly from to much heat on your hair. Give your hair a break for a while from the straightener to recover from the damage and all will be good. Also, start taking your showers in the morning and that will help as well.

Use a dryer sheet and rub it on the outside of your hair like you're brushing it. That's what it's made for, to eliminate static cling for your clothes, so it works great! You might have to use a couple throughout the day if you're outside in wind, or brush your hair alot.

A tiny bit of hand lotion works really well. Just smooth your hands over your hair afte ryou rub lotion into them. Leaves hair smooth ans shiny but w/o buildup from other styling products.

I know how that feels trust me...Well what you do is go to Walmart or something and buy the Fructis hair oil and just rub it on,or you can just take a shower :-)

don't use a plastic hair brush. use one with a wooden base. the plastic causes static. but some statick is natural. u can try putting your hair in a ponytail, or use Frizz-Ease "flawless finishing creme"

rub a dryer sheet on your pillowand if that does noy work rub it on you hair really.... it works
