If you are a truly born again Christian who has been saved because you asked Christ to be your lord and Savior, then you should get involved somewhere to fellowship with others but it doesn't have to be church. It could be a small group bible study. Once someone is saved they are the church, the temple of God. Along with others born again too. Churches these days are just as prophesied in the word; the church is falling away from the truth. Which means it will eventually preach no truth. And the churches are filling up with unsaved people. If you are not saved then you need to do that first before you join a bible study or go to a church. God isn't interested in how many times someone goes to church or if they go to church at all, even though it is good for a believer to go in order to grow in knowledge of the word, but He is looking to see if you have trusted Him to receive His son as Lord and Savior. God is powerful enough to get through to you at your own home or with a small group. Maybe you just don't want that right now so the only thing your mom can do is to let you be and pray for you and your safety daily.

Church should be a group of people who share a common belief and worship in joy with one another.

But spirituality is a personal thing. Whether you attend church or not doesn't reflect who you are spiritually

The purpose of going to church is to worship God with other believers. If you feel you can't honestly do that, then don't go for now but pray that God will give you the desire to go. He will.

Has anyone told you that ALL CAPS = SCREAMING?!
Next time, press the Caps Lock button.

It depends on how old you are. If you're living in your mother's house, and you have to follow your mother's rules, then sorry pal. Put on your Sunday best.

The issue is not your age, it is your church. Find a church which rocks and whose pastor speaks to your heart.

Don't worry about church. I think of it as, church does to your brain what candy does to your teeth.
